Ms. Green is the Chief Executive Officer of Family Works, Inc., where she has served in this leadership role for 17 years. With over 25 years of experience in child welfare, she brings deep clinical expertise, systems knowledge, and a fierce commitment to healing-centered work.
Her professional focus includes working with adolescent males who are sexually harmful, sexually reactive children, and victims of sexual abuse. Ms. Green has worked extensively with families impacted by abuse and neglect, and is deeply committed to community-based approaches that prioritize safety, connection, and accountability. At Family Works, she provides clinical supervision and training to the agency’s family therapists and case managers, helping shape the next generation of trauma-informed professionals.
Ms. Green’s understanding of trauma, addiction, and recovery is both professional and deeply personal. She has been in long-term recovery for 34 years, and brings lived experience to her work—honoring the complexity of healing while holding space for transformation. Her leadership is rooted in authenticity, compassion, and a profound respect for the resilience of individuals and families.
She has been an active member of the Advocacy and Training Alliance since its inception, and served as a board member, trainer, and field instructor for more than two decades. Ms. Green also served as an adjunct professor at the Indiana University School of Social Work, where she mentored and inspired emerging social workers.
Her broader leadership included years of service on the board of IARCA and chairing the Home-Based Services Workgroup. She continues participating in several committees in partnership with the Department of Child Services and community-based provider networks.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. Green enjoys traveling, reading, crafting, puzzles, biking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She brings a wealth of experience, a grounded presence, and a deep commitment to justice and healing to her role with We Bloom.
